		<description>Hello,

I am related to one of the previous conductors of the Hawick Saxhorn Band. His name was Robert Rimmer, born 1863 at Southport, Lancashire and was a professor of music. Robert Rimmer moved to the Scottish Borders (Hawick) circa 1908-1910 before moving to Kirkcaldy where he lived out his life. He was the brother of the famous bandmaster/conductor/composer, William Rimmer and the noted conductor/composer, Arthur Drake Rimmer.

Should you have any information regarding Robert Rimmer and the time he spent with the Hawick Saxhorn Band, I would be most interested.
